MPLS T1 Alternative
Before implementing Peplink, Clinton National Bank exclusively used an MPLS T1 network between 9 branch locations. There was no redundancy or ability to transfer large amounts of data to offsite locations; this was being done strictly via tapes manually transferred between locations.
Ever-increasing costs of local loop Telco lines to attach from a branch into our MPLS cloud prompted Clinton National Bank to look for alternative ways to make this connection. They also wanted a method for Branch connectivity in the event the MPLS circuit went down, and to be able to as replicate/transfer large amounts of data between Datacenters.

Peplink Balance Routers & SpeedFusion VPN
Clinton National Bank deployed Peplink Balance 580 routers at their two largest branches, which serve as their Production Datacenter and their Backup Disaster Recovery Site. At their smaller locations they deployed Balance 210 routers. This allows them to have a backup SpeedFusion VPN between branches, and it allows them to replicate data between their two Datacenters using the full aggregated bandwidth they achieve through multiple high speed WAN connections from their Peplink devices.
They have greatly enhanced their network, not only in speed, but reliability. They have redundant connections between their locations and their Datacenter, and they are fully utilizing the flexibility of the Peplink devices.
